Elagabalus, 218-222. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 2.29 g, 6 h), uncertain mint in the East, 219. ANTONINVS • PIVS FEL AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Elagabalus to right, seen from behind. Rev. T P II P P / COS II Elagabalus standing left in slow quadriga, holding olive branch in his right hand and scepter in his left. BMC 306. Cohen 285. RIC 175. Thirion 334. Very rare. Somewhat porous and with light cleaning scratches, otherwise, very fine.
